court closure imageAs a result of construction on the new football stadium, the Benicia High School campus will be closed from approximately June 13th until mid-August — this includes the tennis courts.

We know what you are thinking,”Why can’t we just park in the bottom lot and use the stairs or the ramp to get to the courts? Use of the tennis courts won’t impact the construction site at all.”

The problem is that once construction starts, no one whatsoever can be on campus.

The construction is not only affecting us. The Benicia High School summer school program is being relocated, athletic programs are working with other schools to use their weight rooms, the football team is playing all of their home matches at other schools, and more. Please note that although the campus closure extends through mid-August, stadium construction will continue through mid-November.

A huge thank you goes to Jojo Donetti who tirelessly worked numerous angles to find a location that would allow us to host our junior summer program as well as our adult USTA leagues.

With four nice courts, St. Patrick – St. Vincent High School has agreed to be our temporary tennis site! They are located at 1500 Benicia Road in Vallejo, just off of Columbus Boulevard near Rose Drive. SEE MAP

We will keep you up to date of any changes to this schedule as we find out.
